These small 3 to 7.5 cm glass frogs are called so because they can turn transparent! So transparent that you can actually see their organs from underneath. They do this by concentrating their red blood cells in the liver, providing excellent camouflage on leaves when they sleep.  More than half of all ~158 species are threatened with extinction.
